The school welcomed three new students on Thursday, 30 January — two boys and a girl formally starting their educational lives. They are Azyaan, Daniel and Delia.

Daniel is new to St Joseph’s, but his Kinder classmates will be sure to show him the ropes. Azyaan and Delia both have siblings at the school, and both came as early starters.  

“The early starters come in each Friday to participate in Kindergarten to prepare themselves for school,” said principal Glen Rooke.

“But the three new students won’t be as lonely as it sounds. We run composite classes from K-2 and there are 11 students all up.

“Things are looking good for St Joey’s and everyone here is fine,” he said.
