Gifted Education scholarships on offer to CSO school teachers

Are you interested in improving your skills, knowledge and overall pedagogy in Gifted Education?

If yes, the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle’s Catholic Schools Office is offering teachers a range of professional learning scholarships in Gifted Education.

The scholarship is available for permanent primary and secondary school teachers at CSO schools who wish to undertake a course in Gifted Education through the University of New South Wales.

The Graduate Certificate of Gifted Education and Masters of Gifted Education courses are aimed at developing the expertise of CSO teachers who want to improve their skills and knowledge in the field of gifted education.

On offer are up to five scholarships at both the Masters level and the Graduate Certificate level. Up to 50% of course fees will be reimbursed to scholarship recipients - subject to satisfactory completion of each unit.

Both courses can be completed through online or blended learning and via intensive courses during school holidays.

Those who receive these scholarships will be expected to share the knowledge they gain and provide professional learning to other CSO staff.
