Introducing Trinity Catholic College

St Pius X High School, Adamstown will become Trinity Catholic College from the commencement of the 2025 school year, when it welcomes Year 11 students.

Planning for the launch of Trinity Catholic College has continued, following feedback and consultation about the new name from the school and wider community across 2022 and 2023.

We are now delighted to share the new motto and visual identity for the school.

The new visual identity is bold, confident and contemporary.  It connects elements of the school community, honouring the past and providing a fresh look for the future.

The motto

The simplicity of the new motto, ‘Faith Hope Love’ crystallises the essence of the school and reflects the spirit of the school community.

The crest

The new identity retains a clear link to the heritage and history of the school and preserves the star found in the previous St Pius X crest, acknowledging our past and representing the light of hope of salvation and guiding the educational path of the school community.

The colours

The colours of blue, red and gold were chosen as they often represent the Trinity.

More background

Work on the school motto and crest has been led by the Transition Committee with input from school staff and leadership as well as clergy, the Diocesan Religious Education & Spirituality team and the Diocesan Communications & Marketing team.

Per the Diocesan delegations schedule, the new school crest and identity has been approved by the Bishop of Maitland Newcastle and the CEO of the Diocese.
