Students took time to learn about Ghana and the work of the church and responded with action through prayer and fundraising.
Our school community came together for a liturgy, led by Stage 2 staff and students, followed by a range of fun fundraising activities.
The school Mini Vinnies team did an outstanding job co-ordinating, organising, and delivering some amazing fundraising stalls.
Holy Cross students had a ball getting their face painted, hair sprayed, decorating arts and crafts, getting a silly photo at the photo booth and much more.
Students gave it their best effort to “sock it to poverty” by wearing their craziest socks for the day.
It was wonderful to witness the Holy Cross community do their best to contribute to the work of Catholic Mission.
