St Nicholas children visit Diocesan Resource Centre for story time

Children from St Nicholas Early Education Newcastle West recently visited the newly opened Diocesan Resource Centre (DRC) for a delightful storytime session.

Mary O'Connor, the Diocesan Librarian, hosted the event and captivated the children with an interactive reading of the classic story "Wombat Stew."

The visit brought smiles all around, marking a memorable first excursion for the 2-3-year-olds. Encouraged by the success, the centre plans to organise more visits to the library in the future.

The library offer story time for its members every month. The next session will be on Friday 5 July from 10.15am. Everyone is welcome, you just need to register your attendance by filling in this form.

The library also offers a number of other events, to find out what's happening visit the Library page on our Diocesan website.
