Finding God in the Garden - 24 May

People of the Maitland-Newcastle Diocese are invited to a prayer period to mark the conclusion of Laudato si’ week, 16-24 May 2020.

Pope Francis Encyclical: Laudato si’, On Care for our Common Home cannot be described or dismissed as being about the ‘environment’. Laudato si‘ presents a rich incarnational spirituality. Pope Francis invites us to hear and respond to God’s invitation to encounter God in prayer, creation, beauty, community, and the poor.

“The Spirit of life dwells in every living creature and

calls us to enter into relationship with him” (Laudato si’, #88)

You are invited to join other locals via phone or internet in a short prayer time for Laudato si’ week. Many will be joining from their garden or with something from their garden.
