Jointly presented by Maitland Regional Museum and the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, the 150 anniversary exhibition is on display at St John’s Hall, the old Pro-Cathedral, in Cathedral Street, Maitland until Sunday 10 July 2016.
The exhibition celebrates the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the first resident bishop of the Diocese, Bishop Murray and recollects the stories of people, families, groups and institutions within the Church or as part of the Church’s relationship with wider society, with particular emphasis on our region. Many items not previously on display or seen by the public.
The exhibition is open daily from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
