Back to school vouchers

Families with school children can apply for three $50 vouchers per student to spend on uniforms, shoes, bags, textbooks and stationery as part of the Premier's Back to School NSW Vouchers program.

Every primary and secondary school student in NSW is eligible for three $50 vouchers, totaling $150, to help pay for school supplies.

Parents and carers can apply for the three $50 vouchers for each eligible student in their family online at Service NSW or in person at a Service NSW Centre.

To be eligible, your child must be a NSW resident and enrolled to attend school in 2023. Only one application can be made for each student.

How can the vouchers be used?

The vouchers can be used towards the cost of shoes, bags, technology, stationary, school uniforms and other school expenses. You can find a list of all eligible items here on the Service NSW website.

The vouchers can be used at registered businesses only, such as Lowes, Alinta, Officeworks, Rebel Sport and K-mart.

When can the vouchers be used?

Applications for vouchers are now open. Vouchers are valid for use by 30th June (end of Term 2).
