Come along to one of two free information sessions for parents or carers seeking more information on assessments, or know someone close to them who has recently been diagnosed with autism. Learn about support available in the Hunter region for diagnosis and therapeutic intervention.
A CatholicCare psychologist will provide attendees with an overview on the condition and information, resources and services available to assist them.
Kirsty Russell, a mother and advocate, will then share her personal account on dealing with her children’s autism diagnoses, the tools she used to build confidence and resilience and how she got her family the support they need to live a happy life.
