CatholicCare recognises the importance of this week, and our involvement in NAIDOC events this year has included:
- Cessnock Regional Art Gallery Exhibition, which featured work from our Early Intervention Art Course and focused on newfound knowledge of Indigenous art techniques. View a gallery below.
- Gloucester NAIDOC Day celebrations, which included a smoking ceremony, didgeridoo performance and the unveiling of the Jack Cook Memorial Plaque.
- ‘Barra Murruk’ Family Day Out at Taree, which included a free barbecue lunch and face painting.
