For the third year, the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle will run a Church/Faith Crawl.

The event will visit several religious institutions and encourage ecumenical connections and conversations.

The planned locations include Rutherford Mosque, The Grainery Church, a Uniting Church, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

“You don’t want to miss out on this enriching experience,” Project Officer and Event Organiser Alyson Segrott said.

“It’ll be a great opportunity to connect with like-minded people and learn about other faiths.”

In 2022, the event visited the Anglican, Catholic, Lutheran, and Russian Orthodox churches in Newcastle.

“The positive feedback inspired an expansion, and in 2023, the event evolved into the Church/Faith Crawl, including visits to interfaith worship places such as a mosque and various Christian denominations,” Alyson said.

Everyone is welcome to attend. The event will happen on Wednesday 11 September from 9.30am to 3.45pm.

Places are strictly limited. Register today to secure your spot! Click here.
