Can you help CatholicCare Make a Difference?

A single mum, three couples from Afghanistan, a university student, and dozens of school students – these are just a few of the people CatholicCare Hunter-Manning has supported in the last couple of months across our range of services.

Through our Food Programs and Refugee Hub, we help some of the most vulnerable individuals and families in our community by offering a hand-up and a way to move forward.

It might be through a warm meal, English tutoring, assistance with a job application, or helping a father pass his driving test to support his family.

It’s people like Dan*.

He says our Community Kitchen in Taree threw him a lifeline when he fell on hard times.

For many months, he was left without a home, often staying with family or friends, before he was finally approved for affordable housing.

Can you help us make a difference in more people’s lives?

By donating to our 2024 Make a Difference Appeal, you will directly contribute to local services. We can’t do this work without the generosity of our community and people like you.

Demand for our services continues to increase across the winter months, and we need more support.

We serve an average of 900 meals per week across our five Community Kitchens, but every winter we see a sharp increase in demand as people struggle.

Our volunteers and food donors are working hard to meet this demand, but what we really need is money to contribute where there are gaps.

Every dollar counts and will make a difference in your local community.
