In theme with Christmas, students chose from five scripture passages that tell the different parts of the nativity. They were tasked with creating an artwork that depicts their interpretation of their selected scripture and to submit a written reflection that explained their artwork.
On Friday 1st December, the entries were judged by Ryan Gato (Acting Assistant Head - RE&S), Lizzie Watkins (Family Engagement Officer, CSO) and Rebecca Piefke (Youth Coordinator – Chisholm Region (on behalf of Fr George)).
It was a difficult task to select the winners and highly commended artworks for each grade given the artistic appeal and creative works submitted.

Later in the day, Bishop Michael Kennedy, visited St Patrick’s Primary School, Lochinvar where the finalist and highly commended artworks were displayed. He admired the innovative and unique perspective illustrated by each of the students through their art.
