Special mention to Olive Wade from St Joseph's Primary School, Charlestown who finished 2nd overall in the 12-13yrs girls high jump and Oliver Sciulli from St Joseph's Primary School, Merewether won silver in the final of the 10yrs 100m.
Sienna Compton from St Aloysius Catholic Primary School, Chisholm was a standout at the event and came away with:
In addition to this, Sienna broke a NSW State Multi Class Record for her Classification (T01) in the Junior Girls 800m - she took 9 seconds off the old record (3:16.32); with a time of 3:07.41 which has stood for 14 years (2009).
To finish off an already wonderful two days, Sienna had the highest overall point score across all Junior and Senior MC Boys and Girls and was awarded the "2023 Most Outstanding Athlete - Multi Class".
Caleb Hyslop from St Aloysius Catholic Primary School, Chisholm won the 11-13 yrs multiclass 800m and Sebastian Stace from St Joseph's Primary School, East Maitland qualified in the 8-10 yrs multiclass 800m.
Congratulations to these amazing athletes who have qualified to represent NSW at School Sport Australia in Launceston in a few weeks.
