St Joseph's stage drama production

The school community of St Joseph's Primary School, Kilaben Bay certainly made a difference when they presented their drama items at St Paul's Catholic College, Booragul last Thursday night.

Students worked with ASPIRE artistic director Anna Kerrigan to produce and write their original scripts and create their characters and costumes.

Each class worked together incorporating creativity, humour, mystery and suspense.

The performances were tied together with a creative script based around writing creatively for a homework assignment — very clever.

Script topics included camping, packing for holidays, the ocean, pranks, cats versus dogs, a good mystery, area 51, aliens and even our residential kookaburras.

A line from a Year 1 script mentions "the smallest creature can make a big difference in the world" and that's exactly what our children did on this night. They made a difference.
