There has been an improved focus on wellbeing at St Joseph’s over the past year and credit for this must go to all of the hardworking teachers, who give their time to make a lot of this happen.
On the Monday and Thursday, students found plenty of fun and enjoyment with activities such as mindfulness colouring, painting and origami.
On Tuesday, students spent some time “chilling out” playing board games, working on laptops and computers and continuing their mindfulness colouring.
Students tried their hand at some yoga on Wednesday under the guide of Mr John West, which left students feeling relaxed and engaged.
The final day saw over a third of the school head to the verandah to spend time making play dough with Miss Houlahan.
Thank you very much to Miss Houlahan for organising the week and for all the teachers who contributed their time and effort to make the activities fun and engaging for all students while engendering a sense of wellbeing.
