Convenor Jenny Howard, Assistant Principal at St Columba’s Primary School, Adamstown said the numbers were very strong in all divisions and great sportsmanship was shown by all teams.

Close to 50 secondary students from our high schools generously volunteered to umpire at the event and assisted in providing a great experience for the younger netballers.

To promote physical activity and a sense of fun, the score was only kept in one decision, the Open Girls A.

The team from St Catherine’s Catholic College, Singleton took out the division and were undefeated on the day. The team members included Chloe Jones, Alex Neyland, Chelsey Chesworth, Amelia Davy, Charlotte Davey, Sophia Slater, Lilah Harris, Elke Tanzer, Ella McLeod and Molly Thomas.

St Paul’s Primary School, Rutherford and Holy Family Primary School, Merewether Beach were the next best performing in that division.
