Colourful day of fun in the sun for Corpus Christi Waratah

Corpus Christi Primary School, Waratah combined their Colour Run event with their annual cross country carnival, making for a day of fun in the sun.

Held at Waratah Sporting Oval, the Colour Run provided a wonderful opportunity for the school to come together for a shared, fun experience, while also raising funds for the soon-to-be revamped Learning Hub.

The event was run by the school’s Parents and Friends Association, liaising with Mrs Emily Haardt, and managed to raise a total of $10 000.

This money will go towards revitalising the schools current Learning Hub, with renovations expected to be completed by 2020.

The new and improved Learning Hub will provided a modern, flexible learning space for students to engage with literature and research.

Well done, Corpus Christi!
