It was all smiles and laughter as the new Kindergarten students at St Joseph’s Primary School, Kilaben Bay attended their first day on Thursday 31 January.
The new students spent the morning playing and engaging with their provocations as they pretended to cook, fish, control cars and build structures.
Best of all, they spent the day with the school’s new teachers and met new friends. When visiting the rooms throughout the day I heard one Kindergarten girl ask another “will you be my friend?” - this could be the start of a long friendship.
I look forward to spending more time in the classrooms and watching these students grow and learn together here at St Joseph’s.
