Denman’s show stoppers

Students from St Joseph’s Primary School, Denman, came away with eight ribbons at the recent Singleton Show.

Aaron Moon September 27, 2018

The 17 members of the school’s Cattle Show Team competed in the Junior Parading at the Singleton Show - with all of the school’s steers and heifers also competing in the Led Heifer and Steer Competition.

All students did a tremendous job in preparing and showing the animals and were rewarded for the efforts by coming away with eight ribbons.

Congratulations especially to Scarlet Hagan, Marshall Hinze, Will Jacobs and Sophie Paull who placed in their first ever competition – a great achievement.

A big thank you to all the sponsors who support the Cattle Show Team:

It is always greatly appreciated, particularly at the moment with the tough conditions and high feed prices.
