All students and staff came to school wearing crazy or colourful socks, donating a gold coin to raise funds for the Catholic Mission. Catholic Mission provide a variety of valuable services to communities around the world. This year, as part of World Mission Month, they are raising money for a community in Uganda.

The ‘socks’ theme is intended as a simple gesture to show solidarity for those children around the world who go barefoot to school every day.

The students at St Paul’s generously supported Catholic Mission during the day. Their donations were collected in ‘House’ teams and the most generous House will earn points toward the ‘St Paul’s Cup’ which is awarded at the end of the year.

Principal Graeme Selmes commented that, “Supporting those in need around the world is part of our school’s Catholic values, recognising the dignity of every person”.
