WEATHER UPDATE: Taree Community Kitchen open but our Taree office remains closed

CatholicCare's Taree Community Kitchen is open and serving the community but our Taree office remains closed.

We are thrilled to announce that our Taree Community Kitchen has resumed operations after the storms last week. Our staff and volunteers have worked diligently to ensure the kitchen is clean and ready for use after the recent flooding. We want to extend our sincere appreciation to Essential Energy for their generous donation to our food programs, which has enabled us to restock our fridges and continue providing essential meals to our community.

While our Kitchen has reopened, our Taree office is still closed. If you need to contact our Taree team, please call (02) 6539 5900.

We understand that this is a distressing time for many individuals and families, our thoughts are with the entire community as we navigate this difficult situation together. We are especially mindful of those who have been displaced from their homes or cut off from essential services.

Please prioritise your safety and the safety of others. If you are struggling, we encourage you to reach out to support services. Help is available, and you are not alone.
