Walk Safely to School Day (WSTSD) is an annual event that encourages primary school children to walk to school. The national initiative informs families that they need to closely supervise their young children, in all road environments, holding hands when near or crossing the road.

Charlie Hawke was on the way to completing his domination of school swimming events in his final year at St Francis Xavier’s, Hamilton. But he was left stranded in the fast lane when all school sporting pathways came to a shuddering halt as a result of COVID-19.

2019 NSWCCC Blue Awards

On Monday 3 February, St Mary’s Star of the Sea Wollongong hosted the 23^rd Blue Award Presentation which celebrates and recognises the best sporting achievements of Catholic Secondary students throughout NSW. The strong sporting talent from the Maitland-Newcastle Diocese was on show with five of our students receiving an award.
