Remembering Santa Cruz
On 12 November 1991, 271 unarmed and peaceful protesters were massacred by Indonesian troops at Santa Cruz Cemetery in Dili, the capital of Timor Leste. The Australian Catholic Bishops Conference Office for Justice, Ecology and Peace has prepared some material to help individuals, communities and groups commemorate this day.
