Listen to the Spirit and Sing

The Australian Pastoral Musicians Network 4th National Conference ‘Listen to the Spirit and Sing’ will celebrate liturgical, catechetical and religious music for parishes, schools and beyond.

This year’s theme reflects that of the upcoming Plenary Council, Listen to the Spirit, to provide further opportunities for discernment in preparing for this important decision-making moment of the Church in Australia.

To be held from 1 to 3 October 2019 at the Catholic Leadership Centre in Melbourne, the conference will feature three keynote presentations, two plenary workshops, over 40 breakout workshops, exhibitions, showcases, conference Mass and conference dinner.

Parishes and schools will benefit from the learning and networking opportunities designed to nurture and develop pastoral music ministries. Breakout sessions include Focus Streams that provide a selection of multiple presentations on:

  • Children/Primary;
  • Youth/Secondary;
  • Liturgical Principles;
  • Composition;
  • Stewardship;
  • Inclusivity;
  • Ministry Development; and
  • Composer/Publisher Showcase

The Diocesan Liturgy Council considers this a must for all musicians, cantors, conductors, composers, choristers, teachers, catechists, campus ministers, clergy, liturgy teams... and all who love sung prayer.

Go to the Conference Website and check out the program and breakout options before registering.

Early bird ticket discounts are available until 30 June.
