The Doohan Discourse: Second Sunday of Easter, Year B

Join us in enjoying Fr Andrew Doohan’s homily for the Second Sunday of Easter, Year B, as preached during the 5pm Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Hamilton on Saturday April 7.

The readings were Acts 4:32-35; 1 John 5:1-6; John 20:19-31.

“In an act of ‘divine courtesy’ Jesus attends to Thomas’ needs for physical proof of the Resurrection. For most Christians, however, faith in the Resurrection of Jesus comes from the continual and consistent proclamation of the Risen Christ by the community of faith that is the Church.
