On 6 June, parish priest at Nelson Bay, Fr Kevin Corrigan, commenced a walk from St Mary MacKillop Chapel, North Sydney, to Sacred Heart Cathedral, Hamilton. Its aim was to provide financial and prayer support for a newly commencing project in Cambodia. Read the full story in Aurora.
During the festive season, there is much to be grateful for and to celebrate. The winding down of the year, the joy of the Christmas period and the excitement of what the new year might bring make this time so special. Last year the Garrett family – my family – had an additional reason to celebrate!
People from throughout the community have spoken with their feet, with large numbers attending both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day masses at Parishes across the diocese.
