GALLERY: Bishop Bill Wright officially welcomes St Nicholas Singleton

Bishop of Maitland-Newcastle, Bill Wright, today blessed and officially welcomed St Nicholas Early Education Singleton to the diocese. Formerly St Patrick’s Singleton, St Nicholas Singleton will continue to provide much-needed early education services and will extend the Diocese's existing activities in the community, with St Nicholas Newcastle West opening mid-May.

St Nicholas Early Education will build on relationships with parishes, social services and primary and secondary schools throughout the region by offering unique early education and school readiness programs for children aged 0-5 years. St Nicholas Singleton parent, Shelly Robinson said, “It’s a pleasure dropping my kids off every day and seeing what they’ve learned and seeing them grow. Particularly for my son, now he’s in the preschool room, he’s really developing and getting ready for kindergarten.”
