The community of St Joseph’s Primary School, Kilaben Bay went ahead with its athletics carnival 2020 on Tuesday 5 May. The modified meet was no ordinary competition of course, due to COVID-19.

Home Learning was thrust upon everyone in haste with few of us knowing for how long. Yet the community of St Joseph’s Primary School, Charlestown, has embraced the change wholeheartedly. When speaking with parents and students, one key word is reiterated – relationships.

Mother’s Day 2020
Mum’s been the word for diocesan primary students in the lead-up to the big day. Teachers and students have been creative in finding ways to show their appreciation for everything their mums, grandmas and significant women do for them.

The show must go on
About 130 students and teachers came together via Zoom on Wednesday 29 April for ASPIRE’s Dramafest — an annual event where professional artists deliver specialist drama workshops.
