To paraphrase the saying, it takes a village to make any educational organisation a place of high quality and equity. The International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEA) provides the opportunity for a global network village of policymakers, politicians and practitioners to meet and debate innovative ideas, the latest research evidence, teachers’ experience and strategies that address the central questions to a multitude of educational purposes. It asks, “what is possible?”

St Aloysius Catholic Primary School, Chisholm commemorated its fifth anniversary on Sunday 21 June with parish priest Fr Paul O’Neill celebrating a special Mass in the school chapel that was live-streamed from 11am.
Zoom in with St Dominic’s Centre, Mayfield
As with many schools for Term 2, St Dominic’s Centre, Mayfield has taken its learning online as well as using video-conferencing to deliver lessons via Zoom. This has been an extraordinary leap for our students who have embraced it and exceeded expectations with their conduct and engagement – not only with the lesson content but with each other – and developing a whole new set of life skills and mode of communication with their teachers and peers.
