Celebrating Mother’s Day at St James’ Muswellbrook

The school community of St James’ Primary School, Muswellbrook celebrated the mothers, grandmothers and the other significant women in their life during their Mother’s Day celebrations.

Beginning the afternoon activities with a beautiful liturgy organised by Stage 1 students, the mothers, grandmothers and carers were treated to an afternoon tea with barista coffee from Caffe Mobilita and Sardos Coffee.

Families then participated in the first annual St James’ Scavenger Hunt, as they searched around the school grounds and followed clues to find letters to make the phrase ‘I Love My Mum’.

To finish off the afternoon, students brought a little something special for the special women in their lives at the school’s Mother’s Day stall.

“I believe it is important to come together to celebrate all mums and significant women in our lives,” said Aaron Moon, Principal of St James’.
