A colourful day for OLOL Tarro

The last day of Term 3 was a “bright event” for students at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, Tarro, as they enjoyed their annual colour fun day.

Parents and carers gathered under the pavilion and shared a picnic lunch with their children and friends. The canteen was popular with staff and students as homemade treats and snacks were available thanks to the dedicated staff.

The colour fun day, organised by the school’s P&F, was run by president Michelle McDonald, a dedicated OLOL parent.

Mrs McDonald and her team of helpers organised five colour stations through which the students progressed in class groups. They spent time at each station dancing to their favourite songs.

Students at Our Lady of Lourdes were sponsored by family and friends to raise money for participating in the colour fun day. All money raised will go towards technology for the new demountable classrooms that have recently arrived at the school.

The community spirit was at an all-time high, as students and staff were covered in colour. It was a wonderful way to end a busy term and a big thank you to everyone who was involved.
