St Clare’s go and grow the ‘mo’

Teachers and students from St Clare’s High School, Taree took part in the Movember Fundraising campaign.

For the entire month of November five teachers and 15 students from Years 10 and 11 grew out their moustaches and collected donations to aid the Movember Foundation.

The Movember Foundation aims to raise awareness around prostate cancer, testicular caner, mental health and suicide prevention.

The Mo Grow team included Mr Nicolls, Mr Curtis, Mr Hanlon, Mr Hobbes, Mr Chalmers, Joel Christensen, Flynn Sutton, Josh Chalmers, Senura Senanayake, Jack Tickle, Lewis Bramble, Jack Acheson, Chris Taylor, Joel Collison, Raphael Paturzo, Kye Lewis, Zeb Everingham, Nathaniel Walsh, Kane Evans and Andrew Jennison.

After a month long effort, the team said goodbye to their mo’s with a mo-modelling competition and shave off.

In total the school managed to raised $2,430 for this very worthy cause.
