KINDY STARTERS 2018: RUTHERFORD

On Wednesday 7 February, St Paul’s Primary School, Rutherford, welcomed 60 Kindergarten students to the school community.

First item on the agenda was for students and their families to stop by the student garden to pose for a first day Kinder photo.

Afterwards, students and their families were met at the open plan classroom by their Year 6 buddies. Excitement filled the air as students, buddies and parents were invited to explore the many play stations that encouraged exploring, imagination, teamwork and creativity.

Class teacher, Emily McHugh said, “Our Kindergarten team is excited to witness our classroom in full swing with its many opportunities for 21st century learning”.

With the Kindergarten students smiling and engrossed at their play stations, it was clear the first day was a success.
