KINDY STARTERS 2018: CHARLESTOWN

St Joseph’s Primary School, Charlestown, recently welcomed 33 Kindergarten students to the school community.

Teaching one of the classes this year is Mrs Karen Nolan, who was delighted to welcome the students to what is a new environment.

“The students had the opportunity to experiment with different spaces in the classroom and become familiar with their surroundings,” says Mrs Nolan.

“It was wonderful to see the students interact with one another, showing excitement and energy for their first day of school.”

The two classes are also supported by Learning Support Assistant, Mrs Sheree Boardman.

She will have a key role to play in ensuring the children successfully transition from pre-school to ‘big school’.

We wish all new students a great year ahead!
