Twilight Christmas celebrations at St Joseph's Charlestown

St Joseph’s Primary School, Charlestown, broke with tradition this year and decided to hold a Twilight Christmas concert in the beautiful playground space of the school.

The outside stage was abuzz with excited and energetic students, eager to perform for their families.

As the skies cleared from the rain, the school community gathered to set up their picnic rugs and chairs and were treated to some wonderful singing, dancing and instrument playing by the talented students.

Teachers also organised some stalls to add to the festive atmosphere and Santa even took a break from his busy schedule to visit us!

After the final song of “Joy the World”, and applause from proud parents and other family members, the heavens opened up and down came the rain.

It was an enjoyable community event and a great way to finish the school term.
