'Step into a Story' with Holy Spirit Infants School!

On Thursday 19 October, students from Kindergarten to Year 2 at Holy Spirit Infants School, Abermain, presented a Drama extraordinaire for their annual drama performance, 'Step into a Story'.

Students took to the stage at St Joseph's College, Lochinvar, for their performance where they experienced a professional venue and the kind generosity of St Joseph’s students who provided our children with stage lights, sound and backdrops.

Each class dramatised, narrated and sang according to its chosen book. From chickens, ducks, cows, farmers, bananas, frogs, caterpillars and many more characters, I believe there are certainly some future actors/actresses in the making here at Abermain!

Congratulations to the teachers and parents whose imagination and creativity made the children’s costumes and props. From hay stacks to waves to buses – there was no stone unturned!

The narrators read beautifully, the actors/actresses remembered all their lines and the finale was so much fun the teachers joined in too!
