On Wednesday 8 March, the Vicar General, Father Brian Mascord, celebrated our liturgy with the community of Abermain.
The theme for Catholic Schools Week, Catholic Schools: Great Learning, Great Communities, was evident when the children shared their talents during their class presentations and how beautifully they participated in our liturgy.
Father Brian also blessed our newly built Year 2 classroom linking the importance of water back to the students own Baptisms.
The school choir performed a song for us and then our community shared a barbecue lunch together in our playground.
The school choir attended the Senior Citizens’ Week concert at Abermain Hall on Thursday to share their talents with the audience and bring joy to others in our community.
