These are just two of the outstanding HSC results to come from students of Catholic schools in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle this year.
Catholic school students from the Diocese were represented in all of the prestigious HSC merit lists this year, including the 'First in Course', 'All Rounders' and 'Top Achievers' lists.
Director of Catholic Schools, Ray Collins said "As Director of Catholic Schools, it's always a pleasure to hear that for many of our Catholic school students, the culmination of hard work and dedication to 13 years of schooling has been outstanding HSC results."
"This year is no different and I am honoured to pass on my congratulations to all students in our diocese who made the Distinguished Achievers, Top Achievers and All Rounders lists and all students who sat their HSC which is a milestone achievement on its own."
Leela Sagar from All Saints College, St Mary's Campus, Maitland, topped the state in the Hospitality Examination.
Nikola Groves from St Francis Xavier's College, Hamilton, also came first in the HSC for Community and Family Studies.
Congratulations to all students on a wonderful achievement.
