A Multicultural Affair

St Patrick’s, Wallsend celebrated the diversity of its school community with a multicultural day on Wednesday 12 August.

Parents and carers were invited to enjoy inspired cuisine from around the world and participate in cultural activities including henna art, Chinese dragon making, hula and taco making. Students had passports created specifically for the day, having them stamped in nine ‘classroom countries’ which represented nine of the nationalities of St Patrick’s families.
