GALLERY: NSWCCC and Polding Cross Country

Last Friday 12 June, over 120 students from the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle headed to Sydney Motor Park for the NSWCPS and NSWCCC Cross Country Championships.

Charlotte Pratt from St Kevin’s Cardiff ran an amazing race in the primary girls 12/13 division, winning with a time of 12:55. Other good primary results were Coen Morgan from St Aloysius Chisholm (5th), Kyle McSeveney from St James' Kotara South (7th), Fletcher Sharpe from St Patrick's Cessnock (5th), Liam Dixon from Holy Family Merewether Beach (3rd) and Monica Moore (1st) from St Joseph's Bulahdelah.

Rose Davies from St Pius X Adamstown continues to thrive in the sport, winning the 16 years division with an outstanding time of 14:15. Joseph Licata, also from St Pius, came 6th, as did Joseph O’Connor from St Peter’s Maitland in his division. Dominic Moore from St Mary’s Maitland placed 4th and Nikki Hollingsworth from St Joseph’s Aberdeen finished 5th. Congratulations to all runners who represented the diocese well.
