GALLERY: Project Compassion 2015 launches at St Pius

View a selection of photographs from the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle's launch of Project Compassion for 2015, which was held at St Pius X High School, Adamstown.

On Shrove Tuesday, the launch of Project Compassion for 2015 took place at St Pius X High School, Adamstown. The ceremony was attended by Rev Brian Mascord, Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, Vice Chancellor Pastoral Ministries, Teresa Brierley, Director of Schools, Ray Collins, parish and agency representatives and students and teachers from many diocesan schools.

Highlights of the launch included a choir performance by students from St Pius and a presentation by Sophie Menner of Caritas Australia. You can learn more about Project Compassion and donate to this annual Lenten cause at the Project Compassion website.
