Each August, the NALAG Centre for Loss & Grief encourages communities/organisations to come together to remember loved ones and other losses that we, as a community or individually, have faced, recently or in the past. This year’s theme is “Grief Anniversaries and Memories - acknowledging grief, promoting resilience”.
Faith formation is often achieved through gently accompanying another on their journey. As parish communities we have many opportunities to walk with children, families, individuals and couples through significant times in their lives.
On the eve of International Women’s Day, women of faith gathered together for dinner at the Catholic diocesan offices. Anglicans, Catholics, Uniting Church members, Baptists and Muslims were all represented with over 60 women attending.
